The Operations Attendant is responsible for the member entry process, point of sale functions, information dissemination, incoming telephone calls, and completing all cleaning assignments in a timely and high quality manner. The Operations Attendant is responsible for providing, at all times, the highest quality of service, excellent customer service skills, and greeting all members and guests. |
Provides outstanding customer service. Greets members by name and clears them for club entry. Handles incoming telephone calls, takes accurate messages and distributes appropriately. Maintains current information on all club programs, services, and activities and promotes them regularly. Delivers membership transaction services. Registers members and guests for appropriate programs and services according to the established procedures. Carries out all point of sale transactions according to established guidelines. Completes, daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments. Washes, dries, folds, distributes and collects soiled towels as needed into the locker rooms. Keeps supply of paper and soap products stocked for member and guest use at all times. Cleans and Inspects equipment. Reports any necessary facility or equipment repairs to the supervisor and/or facilities department. Keeps an accurate inventory of supplies and notifies supervisor when additional supplies are needed. |
EDUCATION: |
Required High School diploma or equivalent |
EXPERIENCE: |
Preferred Customer service, housekeeping service, or health club experience. |
