The Vice President, Revenue Cycle, is responsible for planning and creation of policy that supports effective management of the Revenue Cycle within a multi-facility health system. Serves as leader, partner and resident expert in the capture, management, and collections of patient service revenue. Achieves industry leading metrics in regards to Revenue Cycle performance. |
Manages and Directs all Revenue Cycle activities within all areas of the Cone Health System. Assures continual improvement of patient satisfaction with Revenue Cycle services. Resolves patient questions and issues in a timely manner. Achieves industry leading metrics for Revenue Cycle performance. Directs and provides guidance to direct reports. Allows direct reports to work independently to assure continued career development. Assures that all Revenue Cycle functions are compliant with CMS, Medicaid, or any other government agency. Remains current of new trends and best practices and incorporates into Revenue Cycle practices and programs. Creates an environment that encourages diverse opinion, recognizes differences, and incorporates into processes. Engages staff and other stakeholders in continuous improvement of systems and processes; manages resources for staff participation in improvement work activities. Evaluates potential vendors and negotiates vendor contracts. Manages the complex interdepartmental and interdisciplinary relationships to assure collaboration and effective/efficient operations within Revenue Cycle. |
EDUCATION: |
Required: Masters degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Preferred: |
EXPERIENCE: |
Required: Ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle with at least (5) years in a leadership role as Director or above. Preferred: |
