Overview

 
This position serves as a resource for employees and managers on benefit issues and related Human Resources policies for Cone Health. This position travels to all Cone Health locations with the purpose of education and communicating ongoing benefits information to all employees of Cone Health.

 

Responsibilities

 

 
Facilitates, prepares presentations and teaches the benefits portion of staff New Employee Orientation.

Facilitates, prepares presentations and teaches/follows-up the benefits portion of physician New Employee Orientation.

Attends Employee Councils to answer questions and provide benefits updates.

Facilitates, prepares presentations and teaches the Get Smart Benefits Education Series each month.



Schedules and rounds at all Cone Health locations to provide ongoing benefits information. Attends staff meetings in departments when requested.



Assists phone traffic with benefit related questions from initial contact to complete follow-thru until issues are resolved for all benefits using MarketLink, Infor/Lawson system, provider websites and relationships with provider teams.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Required:

Bachelors degree

 

EXPERIENCE:
Required:

2 years of experience in Human Resources

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Preferred:

SHRM-CP, PHR, CBP or CEBS
