Schedules and administers computerized Health Risk Appraisals and Physical Fitness Assessments to new and existing clients at least three times per year. Prescribes individual and small group exercise programs that follow the guidelines adopted by Cone Health based on assessment results and client goals. Helps members achieve their potential through fitness by providing customized exercise programs to clients including education and guidance, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and other programs. a. Maintains a record of past and present clients? attendance and payments. b. Reviews all policies and procedures with each client verbally. Provides floor coverage during times of need explaining safe and proper use of equipment. Follows the established procedure for repair or equipment found to be malfunctioning. |
EDUCATION: |
Required High School Diploma Preferred Bachelor?s degree in athletic training, exercise physiology, exercise science, physical education, or other related discipline degree |
EXPERIENCE: |
Preferred One year previous experience in personal training. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
Required Nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, IFTA, AFAA, or NASM. |
