Cone Health and The Center for Children is in search of a patient-oriented Pediatrician to join our collaborative, quality-driven team which consists of 10 general Pediatricians, a Pediatric Geneticist, a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician, an Adolescent Medicine Pediatrician, 4 NPs, Adolescent Medicine specialists, Behavioral Health clinicians, Parent Educators, and a Dietitian.
The Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child and Adolescent Health serves patients from birth to age 21, providing well visits, sick-child care and a wide range of services for children with complex medical, developmentally delayed or affected by mental health issues.
The Center for Children is a teaching site for the UNC Pediatric Residency program. We provide evidence-based care that includes integrated behavioral health and learning opportunities for residents and other health professionals.
The Center for Children is also one of three community partners in the Healthy Tomorrow Alliance, a grant project which aims to reduce teen pregnancy rates and increase reproductive health education among teens in Greensboro. The providers of the Adolescent Medicine Subspecialty Clinic have a vested interest in this initiative, as they care for teens in Greensboro and surrounding areas.
