Call: No JOB SUMMARY:
To provide safe and effective evidence-based patient care for patients of all ages EDUCATION:
Master’s Degree required from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program EXPERIENCE:
1 year of clinical experience specific to practice as a NP or PA preferred
Open to considering new graduates LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED
BLS (CPR) | American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC
DEA License ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referring physicians. Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate. Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care. Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions.
Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data.
Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care.
