EDUCATION: 
Appropriate Degree required from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program

EXPERIENCE: 
1 year of clinical experience specific to practice as a ACNP or PA preferred

Open to new graduates 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING

REQUIRED
BLS (CPR) | American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC
DEA License

Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referring physicians.

Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate.

Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care.

Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions.

Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Bachelors, Required
Masters, Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Physician Assisting required.

 

EXPERIENCE:
1 year, Preferred
1 year of practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC required.
DEA License required.
