Overview

Responsible for maintaining unit par-levels of all patient linens by receiving, sorting, transporting, and distributing clean and soiled linen. This position will adhere to the environmental and infection control standards established by OSHA, JCAHO, and other regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities


Assesses and replenishes par level and bulk clean linens such as; loading linen carts, distributing/storing/securing linen items including refilling scrubex machines.

Ensures linens are collected and transported within departmental/infection control guidelines for both clean and soiled carts as assigned.

Adheres to PPE protocols as communicated by departmental policies, and/or Infection Prevention guidelines.

Ensures assigned areas of responsibility are properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working order to ensure continuity of service, example wheels replaced to reduce noise, no debris on carts.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Service related experience or prior job experience.
Preferred: Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year in cleaning/laundry experience.
