| This position is responsible for providing direct patient care in the Cath Lab Holding Area as a fully functioning member of the multidisciplinary team. In addition, a nurse in this position will provide high quality, cost-effective patient care pre and post procedure to patients from all areas of operations in the Invasive Cardiovascular Labs, through assessment, evaluation, and intervention/follow up. |

| Provides Nursing care via the nursing process for the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Collects and analyzes patient/significant other data. Complete ongoing assessment to include collaboration with patients, significant others and other health care providers. Formulate individualized plans to address individual needs related to diversity, cultural difference or other unique variables. Advocates for the patient/significant other. Participates in support functions related to the operations of the Invasive Cardiovascular Labs (i.e.: filing, supply distributions, patient transport, QI data collection etc.). | Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) |

| Required: Cardiac Specialty experience. 2 years of Telemetry experience. Preferred: Critical Care Experience |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| REQUIRED RN | Register Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS | Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support to be completed within 6 months of hire. PREFERRED |
