| Determine ExtraOcular Muscle measurements and disorders -------------------------------------------------- Escort patient to room and review/update medical history with emphasis on primary reason for visit. -------------------------------------------------- Neutralize (read) patient's current glasses and document -------------------------------------------------- Obtain confrontation Visual Fields and document -------------------------------------------------- Obtain visual acuity for both eyes, uncorrected and corrected -------------------------------------------------- Perform IntraOcular Pressure Measurements -------------------------------------------------- Perform papillary examination and document -------------------------------------------------- Place dilating eye drops in both eyes as ordered by physician (standing orders) -------------------------------------------------- Refract patient for best corrected vision and write glasses prescription *Retinoscopy and Manifest refraction -------------------------------------------------- Transfer patient to sub waiting area, MD exam room or Tech room -------------------------------------------------- |
| EDUCATION: |
| High School Diploma or equivalent, Education, Required Training from an Accredited Medical Ophthalmic Program |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| 2 years, Preferred Two years of experience in an ophthalmic office is preferred |
