| Assist A/R staff with coding questions. -------------------------------------------------- Assist in the development and delivery of one-on-one and group education/training classes. -------------------------------------------------- Audit office charges for specified practices to evaluate a provider•s understanding of AMA/CMS documentation guidelines. Document findings from the review and provide written report to Coding Support Manager. Code charges for specific practices -------------------------------------------------- Maintain a working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD -10 CPT, HCPCS guidelines and policies. Maintain a working knowledge of AMA and CMS documentation guidelines. Attend educational sessions and read publications to stay up to date on changes regarding AMA and CMS documentation guidelines. -------------------------------------------------- Notify Compliance department of any compliance violations that are discovered during the review process. -------------------------------------------------- |
