Overview

Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical
This position provides direct administrative support for the President and Vice President of Programs and manages all internal operations for Impact Alamance Building and Conference Facility. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

 

Responsibilities

 

 
  • Manages all internal operations for the Impact Alamance Building and Conference Facility.
  • Supervises Conference Center Coordinator.
  • Serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors Including Providing support to board committees and serving as the point person for board meeting logistics.
  • Manages administrative functions including supply orders, phone service and communications with vendors.
  • Coordinates special events and provide support for foundation programs and initiatives.
  • Manages information systems including technology, audiovisual equipment and phone system.
  • Provides direct administrative support for the President and Vice President of Programs.
  • In partnership with the President and Grants and Finance manager, supports the Foundation's budget and finances; authorizes and approves Foundation expenditures.
  • In partnership with the Vice President of Programs, oversees the grants management system including the coordination of approval letters, grant agreements, payments entries and requirements, and financial management and reporting.
  • Manages contracts with outside consultants and vendors

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Required:  Bachelor's Degree
Preferred:  Bachelor's or Master's Degree in communications, or related field.

 

EXPERIENCE:
Required:  Five years of relevant experience
Preferred:  Seven to ten years of progressive relevant experience and responsibility.
