Under the supervision of the Patient Service Managers performs routine duties related to preparation and serving of food. |
Assembles trays/ meal accurately and attractively according to diet order (content, portion size, texture, and condiments) and individual preferences -------------------------------------------------- Completes all logs within appropriate time frames -------------------------------------------------- Ensure served foods maintain HCCAP temperature, quality, and time requirements. -------------------------------------------------- Follows established procedures for the proper storage of food (covering, labeling, and dating). -------------------------------------------------- Maintains an awareness of age-appropriate care, as evidence by successful completion of Age-appropriate Care Training/Testing -------------------------------------------------- Operates, utilizes, and clean food service equipment and areas in accordance with department specifications to avoid damage or excessive wear -------------------------------------------------- Participates in performance improvement program -------------------------------------------------- Promptly accomplishes tasks in accordance with specifications and time frames and performs other tasks as assigned/requested. -------------------------------------------------- Serves food at a speed which results in timely and continuous movement of trays/meals with great customer service skills -------------------------------------------------- Sets up, maintains and cleans meal service area appropriately and within established time frames. -------------------------------------------------- |
