Come join our outpatient team in Burlington, NC at Alamance Regional Medical Center. This position will provide evaluation and treatment for our pelvic health population. Our patients are scheduled one-on-one for 45 minutes – no techs, no assistants. Onsite mentorship by a clinical specialist is available. No weekends or holidays. Alamance Regional Medical Center is located right off of I-40 with easy access from both the Triad and Triangle regions. Hours are Mon-Thurs – 9-hour days and Fri - 4-hour day or (4) 10 hour days. This position is accountable to evaluate and treat all patients referred for pelvic health physical therapy services, to assist in their return to optimal functional abilities, and to prevent additional disability. This includes communication with physicians and other health care personnel to assist in providing quality patient care.

The Physical Therapist I evaluates patients? conditions, develops personalized treatment plans, and implements therapeutic interventions to optimize functional abilities. This role works closely with patients, guiding them through exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. This role also educates patients on injury prevention, provides pain management strategies, and monitors progress throughout the treatment process. The Physical Therapist I monitors and evaluates outcomes related to the assessment and plan of care. This position requires guidance and mentoring for completion of the essential job functions. |
Talent Pool: Allied Health
Supports evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans. Administers therapeutic exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes. Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care. Monitors and documents patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed. Collaborates on teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes. Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned. |
