Operates specialized equipment and monitors patients during procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes. Administers medications and maintains accurate documentation of patients' responses and procedural details. Collaborates closely with the healthcare team, including physicians and technicians, to facilitate smooth and successful procedures. Provides patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath and peripheral vascular lab procedures. Adheres to professional advancement program requirements, engages in ongoing education, and mentors others to promote professional growth and development to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field, leading to improved patient care and clinical expertise. Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned. |
EDUCATION:
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Cardiac Specialty Experience, 2 Years Telemetry experience.1-2 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care RN experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
RCIS obtained within 24 months of hire.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
ACLS obtain within 6 months of hire.
