Overview

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and coordinates activities for specific individuals, teams, or departments, ensuring tasks and activities are completed in a timely manner and efficiently. Under close supervision, this job plays a key role in ensuring the success and smooth-running of daily operations for employees of all levels. Talent Pool: Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

 

 
  • Provides customer support via face-to-face, phone and email in a friendly, cordial manner.
  • Maintains and coordinates schedules and appointments efficiently.
  • Prepares reports, tables, spreadsheets and requests specific to departmental needs in a timely manner.
  • Prioritizes incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and other correspondence.
  • Maintains files and records, including financial data as requested in department.
  • Maintains office supplies.
  • Maintains systems/databases (Kronos, Lawson, Cone HealthLink).

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
Associates, Preferred
Bachelors, Preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years with High School diploma, Administrative support, Required
2-3 years with Associate degree, Administrative support, Required
1-2 with Bachelor's degree, Administrative support, Required
Healthcare experience preferred.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED:
MOSES H. CONE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ONLY: Notary Public required or must obtain within 90 days of date of hire.
