Overview

 
The Inventory Control Analyst assists with ensuring that necessary products are in stock by making requests for new products, following up on back-orders and open purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and resolving problems with shipping. This role also works to ensure that the inventory count is up-to-date and accurate in order to facilitate product orders. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

 

 
  • Assists with coordinating requests for new products and generating appropriate documentation in online database.
  • Helps to follow up on back-orders and open purchase orders, expediting product deliveries, and making any necessary adjustments to re-order products in order to meet demand.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy and integrity, including researching cycle count, discrepancies, and following up with respective supervisors if needed.
  • Confirms daily storeroom orders to ensure accurate product counts and deliveries.
  • Resolves problems between shipping locations, carriers, and receiving departments in order to ensure the planned arrival of the product.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year of experience in materials management, inventory, or a service-related field
