Overview

The Project Manager IT Senior manages and oversees all aspects of technology projects to ensure they are completed on time and within the budget. This position spends the majority of their time addressing complex issues under minimal supervision. This position is responsible for reviewing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.

Responsibilities


* Performs all routine project management practices according to PMI guidance.
* Serves as an advisor on key projects being led by less experienced project management professionals.
* Establishes project status reporting templates targeted to each set of stakeholders typically associated with a project.
* Collaborates and guides the building of best practices and processes for IT project management.
* Performs continously learning across the IT service spectrum focusing on building a strong foundation of technical knowledge.
* Performs routine Program and Portfolio Management activities as needed within the IT department.
* Coaches and mentors other project management professionals, project stakeholders, and IT colleagues on project management best practices.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5 years

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Project Management Professional (PMP)
