Overview

 
The Imaging Registrar supports the processing all documentation related to patient registration and requests for imaging data. This role greets patients upon arrival and collects necessary information from them, such as financial and health records. Working under close supervision, this role assists with directing patients to the correct location and verifies that their documentation is appropriate. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

 

Responsibilities

 

 
  • Determines patient destination at check-in upon arrival at CHL.
  • Helps interview patients in order to obtain accurate registration data and obtains necessary signatures on the AOB and collects copies of insurance card and patient identification.
  • Collects required financial information upon registration or check-in.
  • Maintains a balanced cash drawer.
  • Enters all data accurately.
  • Handles and appropriately directs all phone calls and initiates call reminders to patients and schedules/reschedules patient exams as necessary.
  • Prepares and distributes exam associated documentation to all modalities.
  • Supports the processing all documentation related to requests for imaging data, CD's, reports, etc. and scans the Release of Information form.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year of experience.
