Performs benefits investigations for specialized clinical service area. Obtains insurance prior authorizations and pre-certifications. Coordinates with manufacturer assistance programs for under/uninsured patients. Acts as a liaison between the patient, clinic and/or infusion center, pharmacy, third party payor, and/or drug manufacturer. Works collaboratively with clinical pharmacists and care team. Delivers quality customer service to every patient. Performs other duties as assigned. |
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 5 years
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician and must complete an 'advanced pharmacy technician certification' within 12 months of starting the role.
