Overview

 Clinical Pharmacist III – Ambulatory LeBauer Pulmonary Clinic (1.0 FTE): This pharmacist position will serve the LeBauer Pulmonary Clinic in Greensboro. The pharmacist will practice in an ambulatory setting providing specialty pharmacy and clinical services to our patients. We are seeking an individual who is interested in obtaining a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) license and developing a collaborative practice agreement with LeBauer providers, precept students/residents, and help advance our ambulatory and specialty pharmacy practice models. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with remote work/administrative day opportunities. Ambulatory Care Residency or equivalent experience required.

 

The Clinical Pharmacist III Ambulatory Retail Specialty works in a specialized ambulatory or community pharmacy area. Working under moderate supervision, this role provides patient care in their specialty area, engages with providers, pharmacy staff and may supervise patient advocates and/or pharmacy technicians.

 

Responsibilities

 

 
Interprets and follows physician instructions to deliver the correct care to the correct patient.
Provides and monitors drug utilization and medication-related information to healthcare professionals, patients and the public.
Supervises and evaluates pharmacy technicians.
Precepts students and residents.
Functions at a higher knowledge base and competency and spends the majority of time addressing complex situations or works on project improvement initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:
Required: Doctor of Pharmacy or BSPharm

 

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 6 years

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Pharmacist in NC
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
BCPS or Board Certification in a specialty area
