Overview

The Quality Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting THN by assisting with assessments, data collection, data analysis, recommendations, project implementation, summarization of findings, and evaluation of programs related to quality. This role assists in the development of education on required quality metrics with all contracted THN entities within THN practices as the subject matter expert and will collaborate with THN practices to drive quality performance.

Responsibilities


Ensures development and deployment of the educational curricula which helps improve the knowledge, understanding, and awareness of health and required quality measures.
Reviews reporting requirements of quality metric reporting set by contracted THN entities.
Performs/facilitates assessment, data collection, and data analysis as directed by department leadership/project managers.
Works collaboratively with the team to assist and educate practices related to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) mapping, and documentation practices to meet requirements related to quality measures.
Educates practices and staff within THN on how to utilize quality reporting tools in collaboration with other THN team members.
Promotes a positive working and team environment that is subject to stress due to evolving and quickly expanding business needs, tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 3 years
