Overview

 

The People & Culture Program Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing People & Culture programs that ensure efficient organizational functioning in order to meet business objectives.  This includes being responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the new hire experience. Working under general supervision, this role evaluates employee training and skill development, tracks projects, and analyzes departmental data to promote efficiency and productivity within the organization.

 

The People and Culture Program Consultant – Learning and Development role will focus primarily on the new hire experience. This encompasses, and not limited to, the areas of pre-boarding, orientation, and onboarding for employees and leaders across the organization.

 

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work as business needs dictate, as well as weekly onsite responsibilities for New Employee Orientation.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 
Ensures that HR Learning & Development programs are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to its overall success. 

These programs include, and not limited to, New Employee Orientation, Campus Orientation, General Onboarding, and Leader Onboarding.


Facilitates the smooth transition and acceptance of HR new hire experience programs by providing communication, training, and resources to help employees and managers understand and adapt to new HR policies, processes, and systems.


Engages and collaborates with key stakeholders, including HR professionals, managers, and employees, to gain their buy-in and involvement in the implementation of HR learning and development programs including pre-boarding, orientation, and onboarding programs.


Identifies opportunities for process improvement and streamlining within HR programs, including new hire experience programs.


Establishes metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of HR programs including

the new hire experience programs, contributing to the Learning and Development scorecard.

 

Provides resources, tools, and support to employees to facilitate their understanding and engagement with HR programs including pre-boarding, orientation, and onboarding programs.


Documents and shares best practices, lessons learned, and success stories related to HR program implementation, pre-boarding, orientation, and onboarding implementation and/or enhancement..


Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred:  

 

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

4 years of related experience

 

Preferred:

Experience with assessing needs, designing, developing, and implementing a variety of learning and development programs, as well as measuring the effectiveness/outcomes of those programs

Experience with content development, including digital and e-learning.

Experience with authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.

Experience as a program coordinator and/or manager

Excellent facilitation skills in small and large group settings

Healthcare related experience a plus.
