Overview

The Financial Analyst II analyzes and interprets financial data to achieve operational targets as well as preparing reports, models, presentations and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders. This job collaborates regularly with operational leaders and finance teams, supports fundamental projects, and delivers results that have a meaningful impact on operational achievement.

Responsibilities


Analyzes and addresses relevant financial data with broader team to aid in decision making, annual/quarterly forecasting process, capital review process, labor review process, or month-end close process.
Creates standard financial reports; interprets reports and alerts appropriate team of potential issues.
Prepares financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, charts, graphs, and models. Understands financial computer systems, tools, and databases to accurately capture and interpret financial data.
Supports operational leaders and finance teams by assisting with financial system utilization, data analysis, and basic finance terminology.
Addresses variances and reconciles data as well as investigates financial errors and inquiries to determine the root cause. Proposes and develops appropriate solutions to resolve system issues and difficulties.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor Degree, or Associate Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 2 years of related experience and Bachelor Degree or 4 years of related experience and Associate Degree
