This position is for a pharmacist at the Cone Health Rheumatology Clinic. This pharmacist will practice in an ambulatory setting providing specialty pharmacy and clinical services to our patients. We are seeking an individual who is interested in obtaining a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) license and developing a collaborative practice agreement with our providers, precept students/residents, and help advance our ambulatory and specialty pharmacy practice models. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with remote work/administrative day opportunities. Specialized experience and/or a residency with strong ambulatory experience is required.

| The Clinical Pharmacist III Ambulatory Retail Specialty works in a specialized ambulatory or community pharmacy area. Working under moderate supervision, this role provides patient care in their specialty area, engages with providers, pharmacy staff and may supervise patient advocates and/or pharmacy technicians. |
| Interprets and follows physician instructions to deliver the correct care to the correct patient. Provides and monitors drug utilization and medication-related information to healthcare professionals, patients and the public. Supervises and evaluates pharmacy technicians. Precepts students and residents. Functions at a higher knowledge base and competency and spends the majority of time addressing complex situations or works on project improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. |
