| The School-Based Behavioral Health Supervisor provides oversight of all behavioral health services in the schools, virtual settings and or specialty medical settings where a range of brief, solution-focused intervention is provided for preventive, health promotion and treatment of mental health, developmental as well as psychosocial conditions to improve student?s ability to function at school. |
| 1. Evaluate the abilities of behavioral health clinician in using screening tools, assessment, and interventions. Collaborating closely with team members and appropriate departments in adhering to and improving standard workflow or School Based Behavioral Health. 2. Provide daily supervision to behavioral health clinicians and para-professional staff to ensure adherence to quality care and standards. Includes interviewing, hiring, and training staff. 3. Support clinicians and or interns with technical supervision of licensed clinical staff exercised in accordance with scope- of- practice guidelines. 4. Collaborate with community school partners and SBTH management for program improvement. 5. Maintains knowledge of and relationships with community mental health, social agencies, or other appropriated systems, to expand the behavioral health services available to patients via collaboration, education, or referrals. 6. Identify and address challenges, obstacles, and breakdowns in workflow, proactively seeking solutions to ensure service delivery. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. |
| EDUCATION: |
| Required: Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or related fields |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| Required: A minimum of 3 years collaborating with individuals and /or groups to provide behavioral Health interventions. Preferred: Experience working in a healthcare, school or mental health setting providing behavioral health interventions as well as prior experience as a clinical supervisor. |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| Required: Fully licensed- No Associate level licensures- one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor ( LCMHC); Licensed Psychologist (LP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Preferred: BLS/CPR |
