Overview

This position is the first point of customer contact, providing exemplary service via telephone and remote desktop management enabling the customer to accomplish business tasks. This includes prioritizing, managing, and resolving various information system hardware and software problems to include applications, operating systems, and hardware.

Responsibilities


Provides oversight of day to day operations in PBX departments. Insuring calls are answered and routed in the appropriate manner. Maintains documentation to facilitate operation of the switchboard, Kronos and schedule. All reports and documentation completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Provides excellent customer service by answering calls in a courteous, respectful and professional manner. Identifies caller?s needs by asking questions to interpret, analyze and anticipate the callers situation in order to resolve problems, route requests or initiate emergency dispatch. Takes initiative to address callers concerns and complaints.

Serves as a resource to colleagues in the PBX for all systems supported and utilized by the PBX teams, including precepting new employees and supporting employees in the absence of departmental leadership.

Assists with troubleshooting for customer complaints and directs daily workflow of operators at assigned campus. Always handles problems appropriately and keeps department running smoothly.

Retrieves and disburses patient information. Completes, maintains privacy of patient and offers quality customer service to the caller.

Performs system-wide paging. Pages promptly and accurately using appropriate

method.

Monitors hazardous materials video and status boards and launches required alerts with alarms occur. Communicates with security, police or other authority and relays updates and required information.
