|This position is accountable for accurately abstracting all information needed to complete the newborn infant's birth certificate, affidavit of parentage (if parents are unwed), and fetal death certificates meeting all North Carolina state guidelines for completion, before the mother is discharged from the hospital. Serves as liaison between the patient and the county and state Vital Records offices. This position is every other weekend, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM which is a part-time role.|
