The Manager, Employee Benefits manages and oversees Cone Health’s benefits program and team ensuring alignment to the organization’s strategic priorities and culture while enhancing the employee experience and the Cone Health employee value proposition with innovative benefits programing and solutions. Serves as a member of the People and Culture leadership team providing input towards policies and procedures and strategic planning. |

Leads team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of innovative employee benefits offerings, staying abreast of industry trends and forecasting employee needs to ensure Cone Health’s plans remain competitive and cost effective. ------------------------------------------------- Manages contracts, compliance, and relationships with vendors, brokers, benefit administration and other benefit related business partners. -------------------------------------------------- Manages the resolution of variances identified in reconciliation of benefit enrollment and administration. Identifies the root cause and solution to mitigate ongoing issues. -------------------------------------------------- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including maintenance of plan documents, annual reporting, auditing, and discrimination testing. -------------------------------------------------- Partners with cross-functional teams, including employee wellness, marketing/communications, and DEI focusing on health equity and holistic employee well-being by collaborating on medical plan design, program development and implementation, healthy lifestyle incentives, and other activities to meet the changing needs of employees. -------------------------------------------------- Serves as resource to others through professional organizations and volunteer activities with local boards. -------------------------------------------------- |
EDUCATION: |
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study |
EXPERIENCE: |
Required: Three years administering or managing a self-funded employee health plan. Prior experience leading a team.
