The Nurse Tech Academy is a 30 day program designed to help educate and train Nurse Techs in the hospital setting. The program consists of classroom training with live situations, presentations, handouts and homework. Once you complete the 30 day program you will be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to work as a successful Nurse Tech in the hospital setting. If you are chosen to attend the program, you are given an offer to work as a full time employee with Cone Health and assigned a unit to work on immediately following the 4 weeks.   This program will run from October 11, 2021 thru November 5, 2021.   The program schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. In order to qualify for the Nurse Tech Academy you must be in good standing with the NC, Division of Facilities Services as a registered Nurse Aide I with less than 2 years of Nurse Assistant experience, OR have NO hospital/acute care experience, AND be looking for a full-time position.   If you are interested and meet the requirements above, please apply.
