There is a Urology Specialty of surgical patients, such as Robotic Prostatectomies, Nephrectomies, and Cystectomies.  The Nurses work closely with the Hospitalists assigned to the department and with the Urology physicians, whose offices are located next to hospital.  The department has both medical and surgical progressive care patients.   The Nursing team on this department is known for Strong Teamwork and are proud of the relationships made here with many staff working on this team for many years.  The employees are committed to providing excellent patient care and learning new things.  Staff Education is a strong focus here, and getting staff involved in our Shared Governance, committees, and unit projects is exciting.
